Always read the label never Assume as = ass of u and me
Welcome to the autumn newsletter and I trust that you enjoyed our couple of weeks of summer (be honest – it’s been a good one!) and are returning relaxed, refreshed and you are all attractively but not dangerously suntanned.
Well, here we are hurtling towards the end of another year! How time flies- hope you are making good use of yours.
Unfortunately I missed out on having some time away as I had some rather severe back trouble which prevented me from doing most things, including travel!
I’m pleased (and relieved) to say that I’m getting back to normal now and about to embark on several weeks of travel and work (about two retreats per week).
VISIONS AND LEGACIES RETREAT.
As promised, will be on the 21st – 24th November yes only 2 months away, book the last place now before it’s gone! (If you have missed this one, all is not lost as the spring dates will be released mid October). You can have a look at content, feedback and photos on www.jessicarichards.co.uk and click on retreats.
Some testimonials from earlier abbreviated Visions and legacy sessions:-
“Defining and working towards the legacy that we would each like to leave to the world was the guiding principle of this year's group retreat and what a treat the retreat was. Jessica Richards facilitated the two-day event and was simply outstanding. Using relaxation techniques and hypnotism, she skilfully demonstrated just how complex and magnificent human beings are. Working with the insights gained from this session, we paired up to consider our futures and to plan how to achieve our goals. The next morning, we continued our journey and by early afternoon we were able to define where we were individually and to reflect. The last session pulled everything together as we unveiled our individual legacies to the group for comment.
This retreat proved once again that the learning, insight and quality time together can highlight the imagination, fire and power each of us possesses”.

“ Jessica Richards talked to ACE 2 and it was a truly awesome meeting. Jessica talked on her Legacy subject and started the meeting by getting everyone relaxed and alert which created a wonderful atmosphere and every person in the group (and there were 14 members present) gave Jessica 9's and 10's. What was interesting during the afternoon session was that the standard of discussion was very much higher than normal and those that brought issues got huge value. Jessica is one of our most popular speakers over the past five years in the Academy and continues to be asked back for repeat sessions”.

I am proud of the testimonials I receive but I want to help you write your own to me!
I can’t wait to be outside this autumn with the group in the wilderness and come back to a roaring fire and interact with the groups stimulating company. Please don’t hesitate if you would like to join us (or at least get your name down for the spring event) – be there and release your potential.

WOLF SEMINARS.
They are
looking forward to meeting you! (conducted
by Jessica and Phil – not the Wolves,- silly!).
We are now booking for next seasons
seminars. The season runs from April through to the end of October. Numbers
are now limited to 10 people per seminar. The reason for this is that when the
groups have been bigger, the first to interact with the wolves had a lot of
interest from them but the wolves soon become blasé and given the opportunity
prefer just to lie around, especially if the weather is hot as it has been!
It meant there was less opportunity to see their natural wolfie behaviour! If
you’d like a look at photos and details etc from previous seminars go to www.jessicarichards.co.uk
and click on Wolf Seminars.
As numbers are limited for this privileged experience, it is important to get your name down A.S.A.P. as there are finite places available and we are filling them already. Group bookings are welcome, (so long as they are 10 or less!!)
INSPIRE CONFERENCE.
On 30th and 31st of October this year the Sunday Times amongst others is sponsoring a conference hosted by The Academy for Chief Executives www.chiefexecutive.com at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel in London. I shall be attending as it promises to be an excellent networking opportunity for CEOs, Chairmen, MDs and Entrepreneurs. ‘Imagine hiring over 200 of the worlds most inspirational business leaders for two days to talk about your business’.
FEEDBACK.
The, ‘Think Thin, Stay Thin’ (info@marisapeer.com) seminar went really well and I met one of the attendees in his car 2 months later and did not recognise him due to the fact he had lost 8 kilos in 10 weeks! He’s delighted and tells me he has more energy than he has had in years, and is so surprised at his own success. I love seeing people change for the better. Sorry if you missed it!
FREE ADVICE.
Thank you for your responses to the last offer of free advice and these will be included in the next news letter and all entries will remain anonymous. If you would like to take advantage of this free service do contact me: Jessica@jessicarichards.co.uk
And finally…… Always read the label.
As I mentioned earlier, for several weeks this summer I was laid up with a severe back problem.
Of course, this had to coincide with having a bathroom replaced so lots of work and chaos with no way that I could contribute (what a shame, I had to watch someone else doing the work for a change!). Well, we seemed to have a plumber that, although hardworking, would not have been out of place as a stand in for Frank Spencer! He should have been in demolition! Well at one point, we could see the tile adhesive hadn’t even begun to set after 3 days and it should have been rock hard in 48 hours! I phoned the adhesive company and they agreed that it wasn’t right, they promised to send a replacement batch and asked me to send a sample of the original for investigation.
A few days later I had a hospital appointment for my back. The day before, I received a sample container through the post. I thought the hospital was cutting it a bit fine but put it in the bathroom for the next morning. Appointment day arrived and first thing I was about to do the deed with the sample container when I thought I’d double-check the details. I saw my name, date and reference number as normal, and a company name I didn’t recognise? As the hospital had recently become self regulating that was not a surprise until, yes, you’ve guessed it. I read the small print and realised it was a container for a sample of the tile adhesive! I wonder who’d have been more surprised, the hospital or the adhesive company!!
A topical smile for you from me:
· The only time the world beats a path to your door is when you're in the bathroom.
· I told the doctor “If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would have put them on my knees”
That’s it for now folks. Please take care and keep in touch,
Much love,
Jessica. x x x
