A peek inside Jessica’s Diary - Issue 1 August 2005 |
|
Memo: First a big thank you from Jessica to Ken Gray whose hard work, technical prowess (and patience) has made access to this forum, notice board and newsletter possible. After a few months of this it’s not surprising he finds rebuilding fighter aircraft in TFC's hangar at Duxford airfield relaxing! Hello, I’m Olivia and I’ve just found Jessicas’ diary lying around on my desk at Harley street. I must have a little peek to see what she’s up to..... |
8th August: A very enjoyable day for Jessica by the looks of it, she is off to the Wolves at the Anglian Wolf Society. Jessica will see Peyto and Cheza. They are four year old brothers, Cheza is the Alpha male who demands respect from both Peyto the Beta male, and the humans who attend to them. Public can visit the trust for themselves and see the work to preserve the wolves as a species. Jessica is designing workshops with Phil Watson, (the founder of the Anglian Wolf Society), based on Leadership and The Natural World. Phil is the official wolf behaviour expert at the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association and is a recognized expert in the field of animal behavior. Phil first met wolves at 5 years old at Whipsnade Zoo and was so fascinated was invited to touch a hand raised wolf and remembered feeling at the time this animal is part of me. “It was like touching God” Look out for more details on the workshops in future newsletters. It was Jessica’s interest in wolves which attracted her to the Alladale Estate in Scotland. Because of their work to re-introduce the wolf to the 23,000 acre estate, along with bears, Lynx and Bison. Jessica has chosen the Alladale Estate for her retreats, these will start in May 2006 and again in the autumn. Jessica is looking forward to visiting the estate again in September this year, as its refurbishment is now complete. I know she keeps notes so I will report back on that visit! Details of the retreats are available on Jessica’s website just click the Retreats Button. Further retreats will be held in Almeria in Spain. |
19th August: Well Jessica looks as if she will need her thermals a little earlier this year as she is off to Iceland and the average temperature for mid August is only 12ºC, she says she will take the thermals but no compromise on the shoes for the evening! I did ask if she was staying in the Ice Hotel, but the frosty look told me not to pursue the matter, especially as I have seen some of the shoes she wears!! Jessica will be speaking to the Superpac from the C.E.O.Club. Further details available at www.ceoclubs.org. Returning on the 21st August after hopefully a very enjoyable stay. I will let you know if Jessica has thawed out, in the next installment of her diary. |
31st August: Off to the airport again another stamp in the passport, Almeria in Spain this time for four days. To check out retreat venues organized by her friend and co conspirator in Spain Annie Lawler More information on these when Jessica returns, hopefully with a sun tan this time. |
7th September: I see Jessica is going to be doubly busy as today sees the start of her courses called Changing The Ground Hog Day, she is keen to develop a network of colleagues / associates who share her vision and values. The programme will be 5 days of input, one day duration each, with a half day follow up. For further information on the course you can contact Joanna Jesson on 01767 652086, or email: Joanna Jesson. Many people have become interested in Jessica’s approach and they would like to be able to pass on the benefits to other people themselves. This course has been designed to help the delegates to learn how to use Jessica’s unique approach to helping others. It will increase their range of skills and could lead to working with Jessica on some of her larger projects both home and abroad. Wow sounds as if you may need your passport. I will let you know how it is going when I next peek into the diary. |
Memo: Better put the diary away now, don’t forget to log on next month when I will peek into the diary again for news of all the trips and the courses and workshops planned for the future. If you have any news or feedback on my peeks into the diary I would be happy to slip them in, you never know who reading this. Bye for this month Love Olivia. |
